This page discloses where and how this website uses artificial intelligence — held to the same standard we apply when checking other websites.
The check itself
The AI Transparency Check does not use a language model for the actual check. The evaluation is deterministic: known provider signatures in the source code and network requests, real DOM queries, and a byte-level analysis of image files for C2PA/IPTC metadata. The same input therefore always produces the same result.
Chat and dialogue systems
This website does not operate a chatbot or any AI dialogue system.
The text on this website
The text on this website was created with the help of AI and then reviewed editorially.
How the check works technically
An automated browser opens the page being checked, waits for scripts that load with a delay, and opens a chat window if one is present. It then checks the source code, network requests, DOM elements, and embedded images against fixed patterns and known provider signatures — without querying a language model.
Keeping this notice current
If our use of AI changes — for example through a chatbot we add later, or a language model used in the check itself — this page will be updated to match.
